Social media has a prominent hold on culture today. People of all ages reach to technology to see what is new, in style, and will make them look good. Celebrities used to have a large part of inspiring others in what they wear, but now a shift is being made to social media influencers. Normally in their younger ages, producing content through brand sponsorships or their own personal style and the younger generations are running to it. These platforms include TikTok, Instagram, Youtube, and more. Some examples of influencers on these platforms would include Lexi Hidalgo, Kylie Jenner, and Hailey Bieber. Although some of these women are more famous than others, they all are making an outstanding impact on fashion today and are leading it strong. This article explains how social media influencers are spectacularly changing the fashion industry and our societies outlook to the topic. Many influencers travel for business deals and to meet up with other influencers, attend fashion weeks, and create content for their platforms.
